Create pages
Learn how to create pages in Pixelesq and start building your website. Use various methods to either create a new page from scratch or duplicate an existing one. All with the help of our intuitive no-code editor and AI-powered tools for efficient content creation.Getting started
There are multiple ways to create a new page in Pixelesq:

Using AI Assist:
- Navigate to the home section of your dashboard.
- Look for the "AI Assist" card, which suggests which page you can create.
- Review the suggested page idea, tailored specifically to enhance your website.
- Click on the card to instantly create the recommended page.

Using Keyboard (Cmd/Ctrl + K):
- From anywhere in the dashboard, press
Cmd + K
(Mac) orCtrl + K
(Windows). - Start typing "Create new page" and select the option from the command palette.
- From anywhere in the dashboard, press

Using Dashboard Sidebar:
- Navigate to the Pages section in your dashboard.
- Click on the "Create New Page" button.
- Choose a template or start from scratch.

Duplicate Existing Page:
- Navigate to the page you want to duplicate.
- Click on the "More options" (usually three dots) menu.
- Select "Duplicate page" to create a copy.
Required Fields
When creating a new page in Pixelesq, you'll need to provide the following essential information:
- Title
- The main identifying heading of your page (used only in the dashboard)
- Use a descriptive title that accurately represents the page content
- Note: This is not the same as the meta title or h1 tag
- Slug
- The unique URL path for your page
- Should be SEO-friendly and reflect the page content
- Use hyphens to separate words (e.g., "my-new-page")
- Keep it short and avoid special characters
- Template (Optional)
- Select a pre-designed layout to kickstart your page
- Saves time and ensures consistency across your site
- Customizable before saving
- A default template will be applied if not selected
Remember, while you can edit these fields later, choosing them thoughtfully from the start can improve your site's organization.
Adding Content
Each page can have multiple sections, which are called UIslices and are the building blocks of your page. You can easily add from a list of pre-built UIslices, in categories like "Hero", "Features", "Testimonials", "CTA", etc. Each UIslice can further be customized with-in the no-code editor, to update the content, layout, and more.

- Use UIslices to maintain consistency across your site.
- Optimize your content for both readers and search engines.
- Regularly update and refresh your pages to keep content relevant.
